The Digital Funeral
The ‘analogue’ funeral is history. We now have the capability to create a multimedia event, through projected photoshows, pre-recorded and ‘live’ tributes, to fully livestreamed in real-time or easily accessible post funeral.
This technology was so helpful during the Covid Era to involve isolating family and friends.
However, there’s a nostalgia for the ‘old school’, less-tech funeral, with pinboards and albums of photos, with live music, a simple audio recording device and still photographs, and focussing on those who can attend.
